In spite of the increased number of the small companies their innovative activity is not efficient due to the existing situation in Russia

The Russian small business is not well-informed. It calculates and is accustomed to “calculate in an account book” as the experts told during the press conference SMALL BUSINESS AND INNOVATIONS – PROBLEMS, PERSPECTIVES, INCENTIVES.

RIA Novosti reports as the initiator of the expert event.

“In spite of the increased number of the small companies their innovative activity is not efficient”, - as Natalia ZOLOTYKH believes the Vice President of OPORA RUSSIA the Russian Non-Governmental Organization for SME and the expert of the Group No.5 TRANSFER FROM INNOVATIONS’ INCENTIVES TO GROWTH ON THEIR BASE for renovation of STRATEGY-2020. All over the world the major corporations refuse from their own research and design departments and they transmit their developments for outsourcing. But in Russia there is a huge chasm between the large companies and small entrepreneurship. All the more, the share of the innovation companies is only two percents from the total number where 75% are the trading ones. As Natalia ZOLOTYKH believes these companies cannot be “the backbone of the Russian innovation growth”. At the same time, the expert has noticed that it is important to provide the small companies with more efficient activity against the major ones.

The Dean of the Marketing and Business Development School of the National Research University HIGHER SCHOOL OF ECONOMICS and the member of the Group No.5 TRANSFER FROM INNOVATIONS’ INCENTIVES TO GROWTH ON THEIR BASE for renovation of STRATEGY-2020 Tatiana KOMISSAROVA has noticed when reporting that the regional small entrepreneurship faces two basic problems. The first one is assessment of the business project and the second one is informing and contacting with an ultimate consumer. The entrepreneurs do not think over informing the consumers about their activity. “Small business is accustomed to calculate in an account book”, - the expert said.

“The world is changing from material to informational one”, - as the Vice President of the National Agency for Technological Support of Entrepreneurship Viktor MALAI believes. “The basic motive power is an idea and not the raw materials”, - he told. In the opinion of the expert if considering these conditions the main goal of Russia is to educate the generation of the creators. Viktor MALAI believes that the basic factors of the innovative Russia are the non-governmental organizations, small innovative and youth entrepreneurship.

The co-founder of the Company MEGAPLAN specialized in development of the SaaS solutions to manage small business Mikhail SMOLIANOV has noted with regret that the level of the Russian small business informing is too low. “Small business is accustomed to calculate money on the principle “one pack here, the other pack is there”, - he told. The companies start to think over information and automation only when they decide to expand their business to the medium level and in the western countries information if the business basis. MEGAPLAN offers to small entrepreneurship a part of their solutions free of charge. As Mikhail SMOLIANOV said “the more the small companies earn, the more we and our competitors earn”.

Natalia ZOLOTYKH has noted that the staff and educational problem becomes more urgent now. And in her turn, Tatiana KOMISSAROVA told that according to the results of her visits in the regions, the huge educational gap is observed between Moscow, Saint Petersburg, the cities where population exceed one million and the small cities. In spite of this gap people mistrust the e-learning. “We need to increase the level of the innovation understanding of our citizens”, - Natalia ZOLOTYKH believes. “The innovations designate not only the nuclear fusion”, - she summarized.
